Position Overview

The “Tax Analyst” will be based in Guadalajara North, reporting to the Controller Assistant. The Tax Analyst will be in charge of Integral Trade Compliance activities including trainings, upholding policies, regulatory tracking and ensuring that industry best practices are implemented in conjunction with established Flex compliance procedures.

Typical Day

• Basic comprehension of import/export laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Holds up development and delivery of Trade Compliance policy framework, procedures and process.
• Deliver specific training programs as required by manager.
• Participate in projects which drive strategies and initiatives at the regional and site level to deliver General Trade Cost Savings initiatives.
• Conduct effective transactional review and audit of all imports/exports records.
• Consolidate, research and evaluate issues and provide recommendations of correction.
• Partner and manage integration of new business or mergers and acquisitions.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners including operations, purchasing, logistics, material planning, transportation vendors, etc.
• Assist with investigations and assessments, help track and deliver corrective actions to address findings and recommendations and ensure timely completion.
