Controls Manufacturing Engineer (San Luis Potosí)

Job Purpose
Borg Warner Power Drive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results‑driven individual to join as a Control Engineer. The Control Engineer develops, supports, and optimizes control equipment in existing manufacturing and testing processes, as well as in new projects, with the goal of meeting organizational objectives and generating improvement proposals for applied processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the necessary software for control equipment.
- Maintain appropriate backups of programs on control equipment.
- Coordinate with the Manufacturing Engineering department on actions to optimize control and safety systems.
- Participate in both corrective and preventive actions in response to maintenance‑related issues.
- Conduct statistical studies and production line analysis to detect failures and reflect improvement results.
- Update control systems on production equipment.
- Verify compliance with the defined production process steps through control logic systems.
- Ensure control equipment remains up to date.
- Perform annual backups of control systems.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 or more years in a similar position.
- Required Technical Knowledge: Manufacturing processes, quality systems, automation, industrial electronics, basic hydraulics and pneumatics, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Other Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
