Principal Machine Learning Engineer

In this role, you’ll lead the design and delivery of scalable AI-driven solutions, mentor engineering teams, and drive innovation across modern cloud environments. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact products at internet scale while influencing technical strategy and engineering excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable, resilient, and high-performance AI/ML-powered applications and services.
• Design and build cloud-native, distributed systems running at internet scale with high availability and low latency.
• Drive technical strategy for agentic AI, LLM-based systems, multi-agent architectures, and AI-assisted workflows .
• Collaborate closely with product managers, researchers, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of innovation, speed, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Champion engineering best practices across architecture, testing, CI/CD, observability, and DevOps.
• Contribute hands-on to coding, code reviews, design discussions, and production troubleshooting.
• Accelerate delivery using modern AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in AI/ML, cloud computing, distributed systems, and modern developer platforms.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• Strong experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed internet services.
• Proven experience delivering AI/ML and agentic AI systems into production environments .
• Solid understanding of modern LLM architectures, MLOps, and AI deployment pipelines .
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, Rust, or C++ .
• Strong full-stack engineering experience with technologies such as:
• Frontend: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Flutter, Dart
• Backend: gRPC, Protocol Buffers, microservices
• Deep expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
• Advanced Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure experience, including:
• Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD
• Service Mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
• Zero Trust Security and policy management (OPA)
• eBPF/Cilium for networking and observability
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, and highly collaborative environment.
• Experience at FAANG or leading technology companies is highly valued.
