Senior Software Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer located in Mexico City, Mexico. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end systems, as well as writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features, ensuring software quality through code reviews, testing, and optimization. Additionally, the Senior Software Engineer will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to the overall success of projects by solving complex technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development practices
• In-depth knowledge of Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Experience with working in collaborative teams, and Agile software development practices
• Ability to design scalable and reliable software systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., TypeScript / Node.js — event loops, streams, async internals ) is a plus
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, version control systems, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) tools is desirable
• Excited by building something foundational in AI
• Based in Mexico City (5 days a week in office)
