Senior Software Engineer (Tijuana)

Location / Division Specific Information

This role has global responsibility for cybersecurity integrations and automation within the Corporate Infrastructure & Security (CIS) team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deliver high quality software and documentation (primarily in Python)
• Work directly with cybersecurity teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions
• Integrate enterprise grade security products, services and data
• Maintain and improve existing software solutions
• Mentor junior engineers

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems

Experience

• 5+ years of software development using a modern programming language such as Python, Java or JavaScript in an Agile environment
• Hands on experience with microservices and event driven architecture
• Experience interacting with software endpoints using REST, SOAP, or similarCloud and container architecture and services
• Prior experience developing for SOAR solutions is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Proven track record developing and debugging software
• Solid grasp of software version control and release management
• Demonstrated understanding of compute, network and storage infrastructure components
• Familiarity with databases (Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL) and SQL language
• Object Oriented design
• Attention to detail and interpersonal skills
