Quality Engineer

Summary : SINBON MX is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our family in San Luis Potosí. The Quality Engineer assists in the implementation and maintenance of all quality system requirements including APQP, PPAP, root cause analysis, customer concerns and customer visits, gauging, process control plans, supplier issues, customer specific requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Product Development

-Confirming quality control points in the project.

-Collaborating with project team to finish quality target by following project schedule.

-Identifying and solving all sorts of quality issues during the manufacturing process.

-Supervising abnormality of the manufacturing process and training staff at regular time.

-Focus on the line cycle time balance while maintaining the quality.

• Production Management

-Conducting products audit, customer audit and giving grades for customer’s performance every month.

-Keeping following the issues put forward by the production line, reflecting them to related staff and figuring out effective strategies.

-Generate internal documents on related quality support and customer audit.

-Contribute to continuous improvement of line performance, including cycle time reducing/equipment upgrading/fixture evolution.

-Responsible for resolving quality issues that arise during product production, handling quality anomalies, and improving quality.

-Follow up on the quality status of products, handle customer complaints and provide solutions.

-Guide outsourcing factories to improve quality, analyze and improve defective materials.

-Responsible for product quality control throughout the entire production process from samples to mass production, seeking to improve product quality through testing, control, and process improvement.

-Ensures Housekeeping and Health & Safety Standards are maintained.

• Requirements:

-MIN bachelor’s degree and 2 to 3 years of experience working in a quality related field.

-Extensive knowledge of the ISO9001 quality standards is required.

-Knowledge of IPC-620 & J-STD-001 (Preferred)

-Bilingual Spanish & English fluent.

-Knowledge of ISO13485 and AS9100 quality systems, as well as ISO14001:2015 environmental standard is beneficial.

-Fluent in use of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

-Extensive knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, AMEF, Control Plan, SPC, MSA)
