Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading multiple project teams and managing activities of supporting teams and internal development partners, while overseeing logistics of parts for builds and prototypes.

• Manage project activities, develop schedules, track progress against project activities, and drive best practices while leading less‑experienced staff members.
• Act as the customer interface for all Factory Service requests, regularly communicating with customers and sales teams to ensure flawless execution of customer requests.
• Manage strategic projects to allow for more efficient processes.
• Act as team lead to gain experience/skillset in leadership activities, regularly reporting business results/strategic plans to Director/VP level leadership.
• Lead a program involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for Factory Service offerings.
• Oversee logistics of parts for builds and prototypes and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Direct development of schedules and critical deliverables for assigned customer requests.
• Ensure progress against established plan and determine schedule and resource allocation changes based on business analysis to meet product requirements and development schedule.
• Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborate with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.
• Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities within the manufacturing and/or engineering organization.
• Drive best practices through documentation control policies and procedures.
• Lead and provide guidance and mentoring to less‑experienced staff members.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four‑year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 7‑10 years of work experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, people management, or a related field.
