Business Systems Analyst | Analista de Sistemas de Negocio

Location: Monterrey (Hybrid – 3 days per week at Infosys Office)

We are seeking an experienced Lead QA Analyst / Senior Business Analyst to drive quality assurance, requirements management, and solution validation activities across complex enterprise initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in business analysis, quality governance, stakeholder management, test strategy, and end-to-end solution validation.

The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and delivery teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly defined, solutions align with strategic objectives, and quality standards are consistently achieved throughout the software development lifecycle. This role combines hands-on expertise with leadership responsibilities, supporting delivery excellence across multiple workstreams within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery, analysis, validation, and prioritization activities with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, process reviews, and solution discussions across technical and business audiences.
• Analyze complex business processes and recommend improvements, optimization opportunities, and technology-driven solutions.
• Define and maintain requirements traceability across business objectives, functional specifications, test scenarios, defects, and delivered solutions.
• Lead quality assurance strategy, test planning, test execution oversight, and release readiness activities across multiple initiatives.
• Review and validate business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and technical designs to ensure completeness and testability.
• Establish and promote QA and BA best practices, standards, governance, and process compliance across delivery teams.
• Support solution design discussions and ensure proposed solutions effectively address business and operational needs.
• Perform impact assessments and risk analysis for new features, enhancements, integrations, and production releases.
• Lead defect triage activities and collaborate with development teams to prioritize, track, and resolve issues.
• Validate enterprise integrations, APIs, data flows, and end-to-end business processes across interconnected systems.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, and sign-off activities.
• Support release planning, deployment validation, and production readiness reviews.
• Mentor junior QA analysts and business analysts while promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Partner with project managers, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Communicate quality metrics, risks, business impacts, recommendations, and project status effectively to stakeholders and leadership teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, Solution Validation, or enterprise software delivery roles.
• Proven experience leading QA and BA activities across large-scale enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives.
• Extensive experience working with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, development teams, and executive leadership.
• Strong expertise in business requirements gathering, process analysis, process mapping, and solution validation.
• Extensive experience designing, managing, and overseeing functional, integration, regression, API, user acceptance, and performance testing activities.
• Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and quality governance frameworks.
• Strong experience with Jira, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, or similar application lifecycle management platforms.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman and validation of enterprise integrations.
• Experience conducting performance testing using JMeter or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data validation techniques, and integration testing methodologies.
• Experience creating and maintaining requirements traceability matrices and validating acceptance criteria.
• Ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive testing and validation strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience leading QA and BA teams within enterprise environments.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and automated testing strategies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience supporting enterprise application modernization or digital transformation programs.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts and solution design principles.
• Knowledge of security testing, compliance, and risk management practices.
• Experience with service virtualization and test environment management.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, ISTQB Advanced Level, CSM, CSPO, SAFe, or equivalent.
