MUST HAVE

• Conversational English
• IBM z/OS Administration
• CA-IDEAL
• COBOL & JCL
• OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Administration, or Mainframe Operations.
• Strong experience with Mainframe technologies such as CICS, IMS, DB2, Datacom, VSAM, RACF, JES2/JES3, SMF, WLM, and z/OSMF.
• Experience developing automation solutions using Python, Go, REXX, Assembler, CLIST, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of SRE concepts such as SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Toil Reduction.
• Experience working in hybrid Mainframe and Cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, databases, high availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and performance optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the reliability, availability, and performance of integrated OCI and IBM Mainframe environments.
• Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets.
• Automate operational tasks and reduce manual effort.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Administer z/OS environments and support critical Mainframe services.
• Provide support for CA-IDEAL and COBOL-based applications.
• Optimize batch processing, scheduling, and performance.
• Troubleshoot integrations between Mainframe and Cloud services.
• Support disaster recovery and high-availability initiatives.
• Promote a culture of reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.
