Record to Report Advanced Specialist

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals, while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. You will maintain the accuracy and integrity of fixed asset records and related balance sheet accounts, support month-end and year-end close activities, and monitor CAPEX investments to ensure proper tracking, capitalization, financial reporting, and control.

        Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve :

• Manage the full fixed asset lifecycle, including asset creation, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.

• Oversee CAPEX activities by monitoring capital projects, tracking work-in-progress (WIP), and ensuring accurate capitalization.

• Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities related to fixed assets.

• Maintain strong internal controls, support audits, resolve asset discrepancies, and ensure compliance with accounting policies.

• Lead and develop the team while ensuring accurate and timely Master Data Management (MDM) database updates and asset record maintenance.

     If you have/are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Record-to-Report (RTR), General Accounting, or a similar finance/accounting role.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS, with hands-on experience in journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and month-end close processes.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, BlackLine, OneStream, and ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Oracle, or similar platforms.

• Advanced business-level English communication skills, along with a solid understanding of SOX requirements, internal controls, and financial reporting best practices.
