CNC Programmer

Responsibilities

• Writing complex machine code and determining machining methods, work sequence, and tooling selection.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Analyzing manufacturing processes to determine root causes and implementing corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Setting up and programming machines for production parts, performing machine adjustments, and verifying dimensions against drawings and requirements.
• Maintaining detailed machine records, including tooling requirements and set‑up procedures.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting machine issues as needed.
• Estimating set‑up and machining times, tooling costs, and related costs.
• Entering commands or manually adjusting machine controls to correct malfunctions.
• Recommending continuous improvement ideas.

Specializations

• SMT, Laser, ECIM, CNC, or other machine programming technologies.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in machine programming.
• Wide‑ranging experience and professional concepts to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.
