Job Duties

: Under general supervision, performs installations and removals of Artificial Lift (AL) systems , routine maintenance, and troubleshooting. Provides instruction and technical support to client personnel on the proper handling and operating procedures of AL systems. Performs basic well production analysis and AL equipment repair, as well as cable testing, splicing, and repair. Prepares documentation, including IFTA reports, billable and non-billable hours, and mileage. Trains and onboards new employees on basic principles. Promotes safety and environmental awareness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and guidelines . Maintains the mechanical performance of the truck used for transport to and from the field. Trains and advises junior technicians at the well site. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, are required. Basic reading and writing skills are also required.
Qualifications

Requirements:

• University Technician and/or Engineering in areas related to the oil and gas or mining industry.
• +3 years of verifiable experience in monitoring and troubleshooting horizontal pumping systems (multistage centrifugal pumps) and troubleshooting with electro-centrifugal pumping systems.
• Proven experience in inspection or maintenance of electrical control and/or power systems as well as hydraulic systems.
• Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of low and/or medium voltage frequency converters.
• Have basic knowledge of hydraulic systems (hydraulic pumps, valves, pipes).
• Possess basic knowledge of electrical power and control systems.
• Availability to travel to the central-northern region of Mexico (Monterrey - Zacatecas).
