Cost Accountant - Foránea (Tecate)

Descripción y detalle de las actividades

• Ensures the availability of correct and timely financial information for internal customers and the Corporate (Key Indicators Report, Monthly Financial Close, Financial Statement Explanation and Forecast, Scorecard, Capital Expenditures, etc.).
• Coordinates that the preparation of the annual budget adheres to the guidelines in a timely manner established by the Corporate, analyzing, investigating, and reporting the monthly result and its resulting variations.
• Monthly elaboration of the forecast of manufacturing variations for the rest of the fiscal year.
• Ensures that the production and accounting systems (SAP) have up-to-date baseline information for transaction processing (standard costs, locations, departments, etc.).
• Audits the process that ensures inventory control (cycle counts and physical inventory).
• Validates the accuracy of financial information on cost reduction projects for approval.
• May be responsible for plant Fixed Assets Inventories, (additions, changes, and disposals).
• This function may act as an Internal Auditor.
• This job position is the SME for this position and may provide training for the listed responsibilities.
• Performs any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Experiencia y requisitos

• Certified Public Accountant and/or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Intermediate English.
• 3 years experience or more in the same position.
• Standard Cost Management and its elements.
• Knowledge of budgets.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 13485.
• The site to work is in Tecate.
