Head of Procurement WS Americas

Your Responsibilities
Regional responsibility for procurement across the Americas (AM), including the functional and disciplinary leadership of the procurement teams in Argentina and Mexico
Operational responsibility for defined commodity groups, in particular raw materials or logistics
Ensuring cost efficiency, quality, supply reliability and compliance across the region
Development, maintenance and continuous improvement of regional supplier relationships
Development of regional category strategies in alignment with global procurement guidelines
Further development of the procurement function from a predominantly operational and tactical focus towards a more strategic orientation

Your Profile
University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field
Extensive experience in procurement, ideally in an international environment
Proven leadership experience in regional or international procurement organizations
Strong expertise in the procurement of raw materials and/or logistics services
Leadership personality with a hands-on mindset as well as an analytical and structured working style
Fluent negotiation skills in English
Experience with ERP and procurement systems (e.g. SAP, COUPA) is an advantage
Willingness to travel internationally within the Americas region
