Senior Accountant, Audit

Work Experience 3-7+ years of progressive accounting experience.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing key components of the company’s financial operations, including month end close, general ledger accuracy, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP. Lead month end and year end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Analyze the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
Perform variance analysis on budget vs. Support the controller with year end audit procedures and testing
Support budgeting and forecasting processes through data gathering and analytical review.
Coordinate and prepare audit support schedules for internal and external auditors.
Monitor and enhance internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures.
Assist in process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting operations.
Collaborate with AP, AR, payroll, and operations teams to resolve accounting issues.
Support ERP system maintenance, upgrades, and process automation initiatives.
Familiarity with process automation or financial systems projects.
Knowledge of financial controls frameworks (internal audit environments).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

• 3-7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
