Manufacturing Plant Manager

About the Role
Develops strategies and policies to achieve company’s goals.

Responsibilities
Develops annual operating plan as well as all project budgets and oversees them.
Responsible for developing sound relationships with stakeholders, investors and community in order to gain mutual benefits.
Plans and assigns work to subordinates and monitors them from time to time.
Plans & reviews marketing activities, results and expectations with employees on regular basis.
Prepares financial report for effective management & clearly showing operational effectiveness by his efforts.
Supports board of directors in formulating policies and projects and making policies recommendations.
Takes part in reviewing insurance, banking, auditing and other board related aspects of the company.
Maintains effective communication and coordination with all internal customers, Operations Manager and Management Team members; maintain positive employee relations; listen to issues and concerns and respond in a timely.
Maintains open, honest relationship with fellow team members; treat all team members with dignity and respect without favoritism.
Provides full support to Employee Opinion Survey Action Plan.
Promotes and practices “safety first” by immediately addressing any hazards, defective equipment or unsafe conditions within the department.
Maintains and continually facilitates organization and housekeeping standards.
Utilizes lessons-learned philosophy in continual improvement activities.
Conducts performance evaluations of Management Personnel as specified by company goals.
Supports Operation's Manager in leading Production Management Team to include training and development, communication and enforcement of company policies and procedures, performance coaching and evaluation, and written documentation of Team Member performance issues.
Recommends measures for continual improvement of quality methods, equipment performance and product quality.
Leads and participate in required meetings.
Knowledgeable in all Company Operating Systems.
Encourages safety and housekeeping practices and lead by example, wear PPE at all times.
Promotes and facilitate Open Door Process without reprisal, effective communication and Fair Treatment.
Leads, participates and promotes continual improvement activities.
Handles confidential information on a regular basis; uphold confidentiality and build trust in Management.
Determines, achieves and improves productivity, quality, environmental, health and safety goals.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Able to demonstrate understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction.
Able to work well with others; build and maintain positive Team Member relations.
Able to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures, and guidelines.
Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, Team Members, suppliers and customers.
Able to communicate in front of an audience during training and/or meetings.
Able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion and tact.
Able to work under the pressure of meeting schedules, personnel issues, production deadlines and managing multiple priorities.

Required Skills
Strong communication skills, performance & proficiency management, staffing management, time management, coordination, training, financial planning and strategy management, efficient in standards development, sound in decision making and strategic management, positive approach.
Minimum of 15+ years of progressively more responsible supervisory / managerial and leadership experience in high volume manufacturing operation.
Trained manufacturing professional.
Excellent human management skills.
Fluent in English.
