Mechanical Design Engineer

Would you like to help the team to solve challenges in the energy industry?

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Provide mechanical design support and expertise to ESP & Hpumps (Surface) Systems Group (Pumps, motors, seals, intakes, etc) under the guidance and instruction of the Mechanical Engineering Manager.

Working with engineering and operational colleagues to assess potential improvements driven by client feedback and feedback from the field.

Implementing design changes as required.

Demonstrating the suitability and robustness of design changes via calculation and analysis. (Design reports.

Support the production, manufacturing, assembly, field, supply chain, quality department where required.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant technical degree (Mechatronics, Electronic, etc) with equivalent experience.

• 5+ years’ experience working in a similar role (Experience including the design of oilfield (preferably downhole) equipment is a plus).
• Solid knowledge of CAD (Solidworks/NX).
• Knowledge of ERP´s (TeamCenter, SAP).
• Good understanding of mechanical / structural analytical and numerical design techniques.
• English Level for fluent Communication.

Experience in the design of: Permanent downhole production equipment, downhole valves and artificial lift equipment in general.
