Qualifications: Design and build scalable data engineering solutions including orchestration, ETL/ELT processes, and transformation pipelines. Architect and develop cloud-based data warehouses or lakehouse platforms. Lead greenfield data platform initiatives, defining architecture and foundational design decisions. Build end-to-end analytical and BI solutions that enable data-driven decision making. Operate effectively in high-ambiguity environments, providing technical leadership to small teams. Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into high-quality data products. Manage and optimize the full data lifecycle including ingestion, modeling, transformation, quality assurance, and delivery.

Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or BI Platform Engineering.
Strong hands-on expertise in data engineering practices, orchestration frameworks, and scalable data transformations.
Advanced experience designing and implementing cloud-based data warehouses or lakehouse architectures.
Proven experience delivering data platforms or data warehouses from the ground up.
Strong experience building analytical or BI experiences end-to-end.
Ability to bring clarity, structure, and high-quality outcomes in environments with evolving requirements.
Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and business teams.

Nice to Have:
Experience with Databricks or similar Spark/lakehouse environments.
Familiarity with Zoho, Qlik, or comparable BI and analytics tools.
Experience designing self-service analytics solutions.
Experience with modern data stack tools for orchestration, automation, and monitoring.
Background working in early-stage, greenfield, or startup-style environments.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (Azure, Databricks, BI tools) are a plus.
