ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced Senior .NET Backend Developer to join our engineering team and help build, maintain, and enhance our backend systems. You’ll work primarily on Windows services and daemon-style applications that power transactional processing, scheduled workflows, and ad-hoc requests across the platform.

Our backend stack centers around C#/.NET Framework and Microsoft SQL Server , with integrations spanning FTP, email protocols (POP3/IMAP), PGP encryption, SSRS reporting, and external APIs.

You’ll collaborate closely with fellow developers, QA engineers, project managers, and DevOps under the guidance of our Development Lead. You’ll also partner with cross-functional teams including API developers, database administrators, UI engineers, and business analysts. In addition, our team provides production support in coordination with global engineering groups.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys solving complex backend problems, writing clean, reliable code, and contributing to systems that run at scale.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop backend services implementing business logic, data processing, and core application functionality

Write high‑quality, maintainable code following established standards and best practices

Build unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure system reliability and stability

Troubleshoot and debug issues across development, testing, and production environments

Participate in code reviews to uphold quality, share knowledge, and support team growth

Create and maintain technical documentation for backend services, APIs, and system architecture

Partner with frontend engineers to ensure smooth backend–UI integration

Collaborate with DevOps on deployments and infrastructure, and with QA on testing and defect resolution

Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve the platform and your own skill set

Contribute to production support efforts alongside global teams

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

5+ years of professional software development experience

Strong expertise in C# and .NET Framework

Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server , including T-SQL (stored procedures, schema changes, etc.)

3+ years of experience integrating with REST APIs, SOAP, XML , and building Windows Services

Comfortable using GitHub Copilot / LLM tools to accelerate development

Experience working in collaborative, cross‑functional engineering environments
