About the jobThe Senior Process Engineer is responsible for leading process optimization, ensuring operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within chemical manufacturing operations. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to enhance productivity, reduce costs, improve safety, and support long-term plant performance.Process Engineer you willLead process optimization initiatives to improve KPIs such as OEE, yield, throughput, and cost efficiencyIdentify, analyze, and eliminate process inefficiencies using Lean Six Sigma methodologiesProvide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA, RCPS) for complex process issuesDrive continuous improvement projects aligned with business and operational goalsEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards within chemical manufacturing operationsSupport plant startups, shutdowns, and scale-up activities with technical expertiseCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, quality, and leadership teamsDevelop and implement process control strategies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Lead or participate in capital projects, including process design, modifications, and equipment selectionAnalyze process data and trends to support decision-making and forecastingLead, coach, and develop a team of 6 Process Engineers, fostering both technical excellence and leadership capabilitiesActively identify and develop high-potential talent, building a strong leadership pipeline within the organizationDrive a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and high performanceEnsure knowledge transfer, capability building, and succession planning across the teamForm future leaders and multiply the impact of the team through structured development and mentoringAct as a technical reference and escalation point for process-related challengesLeadership & Business SkillsStrong people leadership skills with a proven ability to develop and grow engineering talentAbility to inspire, mentor, and elevate team performanceStrategic thinking with the ability to align technical decisions with business objectivesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of ownership, accountability, and results orientationWe believe you bringMinimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing or engineering environmentBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)Proficiency in English (spoken and written) requiredHave we got your interest?This is a permanent onsite position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Process Engineering Manager and based in Los Reyes, MX.Please apply via our online recruitment system.
