Plant Manufacturing Engineer

ZF is a global leader in driveline and chassis technology. Title: Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Support global Design for Assembly processes, including validation of assumptions, documentation, implementation, and continuous improvement (lessons learned, workshops).

Lead industrialization activities for new products/processes, including risk assessment, layouts, lean line design prototypes, and plant launch support.

Define and develop equipment and tooling specifications in collaboration with Quality, Maintenance, and Manufacturing Engineering; Ensure plant capacity alignment by validating equipment availability and output versus demand using tools such as Power BI.

Drive equipment build tracking, machine qualification, and integral development process gate reviews, ensuring technical readiness (cycle time, quality, delivery).

Develop and maintain PFMEA, manufacturing process documentation (flows, instructions), and support CTQ and change‑management processes.

Minimum 5 years of work experience with Industrialisation and Process Engineering background.

Complex assembly knowledge and new launch experience is mandatory.

Project management skills – APQP experience.

Strong manufacturing background (Lean/Continuous Improvement, PFMEA, MSA, TPM, core tools, etc.).

Fluent English written and spoken.
