Results-driven Plant Manager with extensive experience overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations, from strategic planning to execution, while ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. Skilled in analyzing, forecasting, and planning production objectives, with proven success in optimizing production schedules, reviewing engineering specifications, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. Adept at evaluating the impact of design changes on expenditures and presenting data-driven recommendations for management review and control. Dedicated leader focused on building high-performing teams through effective hiring, training, evaluation, and coaching. Recognized for improving industrial processes, adjusting schedules, and introducing innovative production techniques to consistently achieve company goals. Prepares detailed reports for senior management, aligning plant performance with organizational objectives.
Analyze, forecast, and plan production objectives.
Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information by utilizing knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control;
Develop, implement, and maintain protocols aligned to Lean Manufacturing framework to meet and exceed quality control objectives;
Collaborate with Purchasing Department to develop Supply Chain Metrics and processes to ensure Customer Fulfillment levels and control Inventory Cost
Assess and propose improvements on Industrial Processes to achieve Continuous Improvement Trends
Make necessary adjustments in scheduling and improve production techniques to achieve the Company's goals
Implement and ensure adherence to all safety techniques and procedures related to plant operations
Evaluate job performance of plant personnel;
Conduct regular, scheduled safety trainings to ensure safety requirements are met;
Ensure the standard operating procedures are developed, accurate, and utilized for industrial plant processes;
Prepare weekly reports for review by senior management;
Hire, train, and evaluate personnel to meet production objectives in a cost-effective manner; Develop and implement standard policies and procedures to maintain consistent daily plant operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, a related field, or the foreign equivalent.
Proven track record of deep operational improvements in a food manufacturing operation. Improvements should include waste reduction, yield and productivity improvement, quality and service metrics, downtime reduction, safety incidents, and employee morale.
Ability to scale a complex manufacturing operation by organizing and simplifying processes, retaining and developing employees, and engaging and empowering teams.
HACCP training
Knowledge of software programs such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint as well as all Google online applications including Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive and Hangouts.
