Compliance & Controls Monitoring Analyst

The Trade Compliance Analyst will be responsible for complying with the import/export operation in accordance with Government Trade Laws. This position is responsible for ensuring NIDEC MOEN KDM DRIVES-CT Apodaca facility is in full compliance and supports the BU gatekeepers with knowledge and day‑to‑day operations.

Provide support to the Company as it works toward achieving IMMEX, ANNEX 24/30, PROSEC, VAT‑IEPS, AEO & CTPAT program status, ensuring ongoing compliance across the business to keep the status maintained.

Ensure compliance for all import/export transactions, validating the proper documents through Annex 24 system & Annex 30 bi‑monthly declarations.

Ensure data integrity of the Annex 24 system.

Generate KPI reports that demonstrate compliance with established requirements as required by the Trade Compliance Supervisor.

Support Trade Compliance colleagues in developing processes and procedures to standardize and streamline import and export procedures across manufacturing facilities.

Work in conjunction with internal and external audit teams to ensure import/export operations remain fully compliant.

Create and implement internal policies to ensure company‑wide compliance with domestic and international shipping requirements, customs regulations, and applicable trade laws.

Promote trade compliance culture and training to related areas (Finance, HR, purchasing, Legal, operations, materials, supply chain, etc.).

Collaborate with general functional areas and local compliance monitoring teams to detail and analyze compliance‑related trading controls and data requirements across the organization.

Lead efforts to implement workflow automation to eliminate manual/repetitive tasks and create more efficient, scalable trade compliance processes.

Provide guidance and timely communication on key trends and insights regarding the global political environment (e.g., This position reviews all import and export operations, reports unusual operations to the Trade Compliance Supervisor, key gatekeepers, and the Trade Compliance Manager. It recommends appropriate controls and best business practices to mitigate potential threats or risks that could expose Nidec Motor Corporation Organization.

Bachelor's degree required in International Trade or a related field.

Analytical, problem‑solving, decision making, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent verbal and written communication skills, integrity, and leadership capabilities.
