Software Engineer - Informatica

About the Role: US Service Animals and Dog Academy are currently recruiting for a Software Engineer who is a self-starter and takes initiative in tackling challenges with our web and mobile applications. This candidate will collaborate with other developers on our team to research, plan, and build solutions to meet the businesses needs.

5+ years of experience with PHP, including an MVC framework like Laravel or Yii

• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles & design patterns
• Experience developing and consuming API web services
• Advanced proficiency with MySQL and database design
• Working knowledge of Docker
• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills (a must!)

A passion for writing clean, well-documented code

The ability to design software that’s robust, secure, scalable, and built to last

You’re a self-starter who’s able to pick up a task and run with it (but you’re also not afraid to ask questions)
