This position reports to: Procurement Team Lead

Work model: #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosí.

Responsibilities

Initiate purchase orders in the system according to purchase requisitions and standard procedures, confirm delivery with suppliers, and monitor and track supplier performance.

Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and periodically renew price lists, terms, and conditions.

Recommend material planning and delivery methods with suppliers. Analyze and evaluate bids to determine optimal value.

Participate in weekly meetings with multidisciplinary teams within the business to show KPIs and RCA.

Support and coach junior buyers in activities related to critical materials to prevent risks in production line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar Engineering.
• 5+ years experience in purchasing direct materials (metal mechanics and electrical).
• Negotiation experience with international suppliers.
• Knowledge in RCA or Lean tools (preferred).
• Advanced English proficiency.
• SAP knowledge.
