Freelance Senior Art Director

Wripple's financial services client is looking for a Senior Art Director in Latin America to join their team for a 40-hour/week, 3-6 month contract that could go full-time for the right fit.
The Senior Art Director will oversee strategic visual communications across the four diverse business divisions and at the corporate level. This role will require strategic, engaging, effective, customer-focused development of a wide range of marketing material such as multi-channel marketing campaigns inclusive of print, digital, video, websites and social media assets. The Senior Art Director will work closely with the Creative Director, designers and writers.

Serve as a strategic thinker, developing and executing creative solutions that align with — and at times push — the boundaries of our brand
Bring original, impactful creative concepts to life from start to finish, while effectively managing multiple projects and prioritizing to meet deadlines
Understand our company, target audiences and global financial markets to deliver creative solutions that fulfill business objectives
Demonstrate a passion for storytelling and the potential for all aspects of design – typography, motion, copy, and imagery — to visualize our brand in bold, compelling ways
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience as an Art Director across mediums: digital, print, experiential, branding, video
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in design, art direction or comparable with an emphasis on foundational design principles and visual problem solving
Knowledge across multiple communication vehicles: digital, web, print, corporate ID, systems-based design, guidelines, video and environmental design
Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, AI tools, Figma
Ability to mentor junior team members
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English
