Tech Lead

We are seeking a Tech Lead to join our team at Marsh. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Tech Lead at Marsh, you will collaborate closely with architects, developers, and operational staff to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business goals, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation, leading developer groups focused on delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions primarily using the MEAN/MERN stack.

Lead and mentor developer groups, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to best practices.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and performant software solutions using relational (SQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
Architect and implement cloud-based solutions, preferably on AWS, ensuring robust, scalable infrastructure.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment automation.
Implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions using Datadog to ensure system reliability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and operations to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on experience with MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) or MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) stacks.
• Proficient with relational databases such as SQL and PostgreSQL, and non-relational databases like MongoDB.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Advanced Level of English is a Must
