About the position

Responsible to ensure import/export operations comply with all applicable Mexico trade compliance laws. Support U.S. import/export compliance functions as directed by the Customs Director . Participate in the implementation of a robust trade compliance program for the organization.

Responsibilities

- -English proficiency is a must
- -Intermediate experience with customs systems
- -Strong technical knowledge of: IMMEX regulations and permits, VAT certifications, Free Trade Agreements, specifically USMCA, ANNEX 24 and 31, MX HTS Classification, PROSEC, 8th Rule, U.S. import/export, compliance knowledge a plus, Basic Supply Chain Management and Logistics.
