We are currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee and execute Plant projects portfolio (STP, NPI, VAVE) and to lead the PROLaunch Op A category as Plant Champion.

Job Summary

The Project Manager manages all stages of the project from initiation, strategy, planning, execution, validation, launch, to closure, and also handles requirements changes, risk mitigation, and issue tracking/resolution. The role reports to the Program Manager and is accountable for overseeing cross‑functional activities, managing shared resources across multiple projects and functions, and driving on‑time industrialization and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional team on project planning/execution aligned to scope, schedule, cost, resources, and quality requirements.
• Work with other departments at the Plant and Divisional level (Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing, EHS, Facilities, PLS, Finance, HR, IT, Suppliers, etc.) following PROLaunch standard.
• Lead risk management for the project, working proactively with functional teams to identify risks and implement appropriate risk responses to achieve project targets.
• Ensure standard program management processes are utilized and provide support to the team by coordinating PM reviews, preparing and publishing PM metrics and project reports.
• Develop and monitor the detailed Project Schedule/Plan to track progress and milestone achievement.
• Ensure the team follows the PROLaunch standard, including Activity Matrix deliverables, and lead the team during stages and Gate Review.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation as part of the Repository Folder.
• Work with key suppliers impacting the project to drive schedule attainment and action tracking to remove roadblocks for execution.
• Use financial acumen to complete required capital appropriation requests for the project in alignment with Finance.
• Communicate and provide periodic project status reports and escalation to project stakeholders per the Project Communications Plan.
• Understand project impact on the business and identify the impact of project changes on other projects within the Plant.
• Drive the implementation of company standard tools to improve Program Management performance at the site.
• Monitor compliance with engineering standards, company policies, and procedures (PM Co E).
• Deploy Op A PROLaunch Category requirements and work on action plans to continuously improve the plant level.
• Act as Op A PROLaunch Champion.
• Establish objectives, goals, and provide direction to the project teams in areas of customer needs, potential changes in scope, and risk assessment.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution (or equivalent qualifications) required.
• Master's Degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of program management leadership experience within a complex matrix organization.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience and proven proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Experience in executing Project Management Methodology (Eaton PROLaunch, PMI).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Technical Knowledge

• Project Management Institute accreditation (PMP).
• Agile training or certification.
• Fully demonstrating proficiency in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Transitions (STP).
• Product Lifecycle knowledge.
• MS Project software for project scheduling.
• Experience in Plant Start‑up (preferred).
• Experience with Load Center and Metering products (preferred).

Skills

• Well‑developed communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written, with the ability to prepare status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management.
• Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and business acumen.
