Senior Associate Asset-Backed Lending

The Senior Associate Asset-Backed Lending will be a key driver in designing, executing, and managing tailored structured finance facilities and collateral management solutions. You will join directly in co-architecting the methodologies, systems, and operational processes, to then execute servicing tasks used for complex credit structures backed by diverse asset classes— including consumer receivables, loans to agricultural supplier networks, commercial real estate projects’ cash flows, manufacturing inventory assets and specialty lending books.

The role blends technical rigor in credit analysis and portfolio oversight with practical operational execution. You will be responsible for overseeing transaction onboarding, collateral verification, borrower compliance, and the implementation of portfolio controls. Once a financing facility is structured or onboarded, you will lead the ongoing servicing duties, such as eligibility criteria validation, borrowing base monitoring, cash flow waterfall calculations, and backup servicing protocols.

What You Will Do

• Co-architect and implement operational and monitoring processes for structured debt facilities and asset-backed credit schemes.

• Conduct rigorous technical evaluations of loan tapes, portfolio performance, borrowing base calculations, payment waterfalls, and eligibility criteria compliance.

• Implement and manage Verification Agent and Calculation Agent protocols, ensuring accurate data extraction, asset-level validation, and cash flow reconciliation directly linked to bank account deposits.

• Support the setup and execution of Backup Servicer protocols and substitution plans, enabling seamless servicer replacement in days when triggered.

• Coordinate directly with top-tier lenders, global investment banks, institutional investors, originators, legal counsels, and fiduciaries on facility administration.

• Oversee credit documentation execution (including physical and electronic signatures/e- promissory notes) and manage public registry filings (such as RUG registrations).

• Leverage AI tools and software models to automate portfolio verification, document classification, and operational workflows.

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to continuously improve CXC's core platform features.

What You Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

• Relevant +8 years of experience in structured finance, corporate banking, private credit, specialty finance, or fintech operations.

• Strong technical background in financial analysis, credit underwriting, portfolio auditing, and structured transaction documentation.

• Deep understanding of asset-backed lending (ABL), trust structures (fideicomisos), borrowing bases, cash flow waterfalls, and collateral control mechanisms.

• Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with loan tape analysis, eligibility criteria, and financial covenant monitoring.

• Flexibility, pragmatism, and curiosity to engage in collection management, borrower communications, and operational troubleshooting.

• Strong confidence interacting with executive leaders, global lenders, originators, and key market stakeholders.

• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English (100% spoken English required).

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related quantitative fields. Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working with complex credit facilities, SOFOMs, fintech originators, or debt capital markets in Latin America.

• Experience or strong interest in AI adoption, workflow automation, or tech-enabled financial operations.

• Familiarity with fiduciaries and guarantee registries (RUG) in Mexico/LATAM.
