NPI Process Engineering Manager

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to hire a NPI Process Engineering Manager located in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The role reports to the Sr. Director, Program Management and involves the new product implementation, ensuring that products satisfy Flex customers and preparing cost estimates and budgets for the NPI projects.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the product launch and make it known to the customers.
• Keep updates with production of new products from project planning to production.
• Evaluate product reviews given by customers.
• Ensure that product schedules are followed during development.
• Work closely with other departments such as Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Logistics, Planning and others.
• Work with other teams involved in product development.
• Negotiate with manufacturers and suppliers to meet company and customer expectations.
• Make project cost estimates including resources, capital and other requirements to make the project successful.
• Conduct meetings with suppliers to improve the new products.
• Offer the best solution that will cater the needs of the customer while ensuring company productivity and cost savings.
• Coordinate with customers regarding new product specifications and features.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in similar roles within the Electronics Industry.
• Conversational English proficiency.
• Experience in NPI and Mass Production.
• IPC knowledge.
• Knowledge of end‑to‑end assembly processes.
• Green Belt or Yellow Belt certification is a plus.
• MiniTab knowledge is a plus.
• IATF knowledge is a plus.
• PPAP process knowledge is a plus.
• Deep understanding of PLC’s P&L Management.
