Supply chain specialist - materials management (Isla Guadalupe)

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional passionate about procurement and supplier management? We’re looking for a Bachelor’s degree completed to join our team in the metal‑mechanical industry as a Buyer.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for raw materials and production components.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and supply conditions with vendors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Analyze and optimize purchasing costs while ensuring material availability and adequate stock levels.
• Resolve issues related to accounts payable, delivery discrepancies (RDL), and material rejections.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed.
• Advanced English level (oral and written).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Buyer or in a similar role within the Metal‑Mechanical sector is a plus.
• Experience managing cost optimization and supplier performance.
• Specialized experience in raw materials purchasing (Metals/Steel) and supplier negotiation.
• Software: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP MM module is a plus) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
