SUPPLIER & MANUFACTURING QUALITY ENGINEER

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to join our growing automotive manufacturing team. T he ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal stamping, welding, assembly processes, supplier quality development, and automotive quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and automotive quality standards.

• Lead quality activities related to manufacturing processes, including metal stamping, welding, and assembly operations.

• Manage supplier quality performance through audits, evaluations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Conduct root cause analysis using problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, and PFMEA.

• Support APQP activities, PPAP submissions, control plans, FMEA development, and process validations.

• Analyze quality metrics and implement actions to reduce defects, scrap, and customer complaints.

Qualifications:

✔ Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.

✔ Experience in metal stamping, welding, body structure components, or similar steel processing operations preferred.

✔ Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), and customer-specific requirements.

✔ Experience in Supplier Quality Development and Supplier Audits.

✔ Knowledge of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and dimensional analysis.

✔ Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) – mandatory.

✔ Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 automotive suppliers.

✔Experience launching new products and supporting SOP activities.
