Family Law Paralegal (USA Legal Firms)

Denken Solutions Inc is an IT company with 14 years of experience with offices at California, Canada, India and Mexico, providing IT solutions in the United States.

The role is 100% remote from any location in Mexico.  The client is located in the United States. The role requires an Advanced English level and experience working with a US Legal Firms.

Hiring:  Contractor (Sharing an official tax invoice)

Salary: Up to $25,000 MXN gross

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Follow rule and statutory requirements in order to assist in preparation of case for trial and routine litigation
• Review and analyze cases in order to assist with all phases of disclosure, discovery, trial preparation and trial support.
• Draft complaints and answers, routine notices, affidavits, motions, subpoenas, and petitions and other legal documentation
• Conduct legal research and locate cases, opinions, reports and information related to the matter
• Contact and interview parties, witnesses and experts, including obtaining written statements from witnesses
• Review and outline depositions, indexes and summarizes documents
• Knowledge of state and local court rules, procedures and e-filing requirements, as well as excellent communication and proofreading skills
• Operate standard office equipment such as photocopiers and personal computer

Skills:

• At least 3 years as a Family Law Paralegal in a US legal firm (Preferable in Arizona Family Law)
• Possess the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when evaluating legal matters
• Possess the ability to proofread typed material for contextual, grammatical, typographical or spelling errors
• Advanced English level
