Engineering Intern - Cad Design & Drafting (Chihuahua)

At Goaltech, we are looking for students or recent graduates with a strong interest in CAD design to join our team and develop into a Junior NX CAD Engineer.

This internship offers hands-on experience working with Siemens NX and real-world engineering projects in industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D drawings and 3D models using NX CAD
• Interpret technical drawings and apply views, sections, tolerances, and specifications
• Apply GD&T standards to generated drawings
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project leaders
• Develop CAD models for filtration systems, HVAC, and industrial structures
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients

Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• Availability to work full-time on-site during office hours (Chihuahua)
• Very strong English skills (spoken and written), required to communicate verbally with clients in the U.S.
• Experience with CAD software (NX preferred; SolidWorks or other CAD tools are also acceptable)
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings
• Proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to learn independently
