Senior Service Delivery Consultant (Xico)

Role Overview

As a key point of contact, you will ensure that our clients operate smoothly with SimCorp Data Management Solution, maintain installations, resolve complex issues, and deliver high‑quality services.

Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for client installation of SimCorp Data Management Solution.
• Maintain client installations and identify improvement projects.
• Investigate and resolve issues requiring product domain knowledge according to defined SLA.
• Analyze problems occurring in SimCorp Dimension, providing timely solutions to clients.
• Resolve client service requests (ad‑hoc reports, license renewals, file copies, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with SimCorp developers to combine business and technical know‑how in analyzing client issues and requirements.
• Participate in validation and testing activities as needed.
• Ensure high quality of all deliverables provided to the client.
• Build and maintain product knowledge base.
• Provide feedback to Product Division and General Standards on product quality and client needs.
• Support implementation of projects to improve existing client installations.
• Identify opportunities for standard configurations versus bespoke solutions and migrate clients to standard configurations where possible.
• Identify and drive development of new Service Offerings focused on delivering optimal value.
• Identify opportunities to use new license modules and services.
• Serve as a trusted adviser for our clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience operating standard applications in the financial sector, diagnosing errors, resolving issues, and acting as an SME for application usage.
• Education in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL scripting, XML/XSL, JSON/YAML, PowerShell scripting or similar.
• Fluency in English.
• Advanced analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including listening.
• Motivation and natural drive for problem solving.
• Preferred: experience in a larger IT or operational support team (L2 or L3).
• Preferred: knowledge of cloud operations (AWS, Azure).
• Preferred: basic business understanding of Financial Data Management (reference data, portfolio pricing, corporate actions).
