What is your role?
The IT Technical Leader leads the design, development, configuration, and continuous improvement of manufacturing reporting solutions connected to MES and related applications. This role helps strengthen operational visibility, traceability, and efficiency by working closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and IT teams. The position also contributes to digital manufacturing initiatives through reporting, analytics, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate various teams to support project implementation, testing, deployment, and validation across global sites
• Translate business needs into detailed, functional specifications and scalable technical solutions
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through reporting, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Design, develop, configure, and support MES reports, dashboards, and related reporting workflows for manufacturing operations

Experiences/Education - Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Software Development, or related field
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to implement projects effectively
• High level of communication skills
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial operations environments
• Experience with application development and troubleshooting
• Experience with MES platforms and manufacturing reporting solutions
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases
• Experience with Databricks, Python, Power Automate and Power BI
• Advanced English skills

Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
