Video Project Manager

LocalEyes is an Emmy award-winning video agency that specializes in strategic video marketing. Our custom videos blend storytelling and promotion to maximize our clients' marketing dollars. We work closely with our clients to ensure that their video needs are met while providing 5-star client experience.

You're the producer's right hand on every project you touch — internally we call this seat Associate Producer. The producer owns the client relationship and the creative; you own the machine that makes the work happen on time: schedules, documents, logistics, crew coordination, and the details nobody else catches.

This is a systems job with a client-facing edge. If you like checklists that actually work, dashboards that stay current, and being the person who catches the thing everyone else missed, you'll like it here.

Client-facing, in support. You'll be on kickoff calls, sending call sheets and schedules, chasing assets and approvals — clients will know your name and email you directly. Creative decisions, scope changes, budget conversations, and anything that needs a judgment call route to the producer. One voice on decisions, always.

Project setup and systems

• Build and maintain project boards in Monday.com; keep capacity estimates current
• Create project folders across Google Drive, Suite, and Frame.io; manage partner access
• Transcribe project handoff forms into working documents for producers
• Set up Slack channels with the essential project information, to our standards
• Be the expert on LocalEyes process — obsessed with getting details right

Production support

• Attend kickoffs (live or recorded), take notes, understand what the project actually demands
• Assist in building pre-production documents: shot lists, call sheets, schedules
• Contribute to interview question development
• Post casting calls and run initial talent selection
• Source project locations

Partner network

• Run partner search and outreach: follow-ups, interview scheduling, complete onboarding

Close-out and data

• Close projects cleanly: all assets collected, all project data captured for KPI reporting
• Support client NPS collection, tracking collection rate on every project

Team

• Attend weekly meetings on time and ready to discuss projects, roadblocks, and capacity

• Milestone hit rate ≥90% — your pieces land on schedule (primary)
• Hours-to-scope ≤100% — actual hours against scoped hours on your tasks
• Data hygiene ≥95% — production sheets and trackers complete, accurate, current

• 3+ years in video production, project management, or a closely related field
• Video production experience — you understand how a shoot actually comes together
• Fluent written and spoken English (interviews are conducted entirely in English)
• Full overlap with US Pacific business hours
• Comfortable working independently, remotely, without someone checking on you

This is a real ladder: Associate Producer → Producer → Senior Producer. Our strongest APs take on their own smaller projects and grow into producer seats. We'd rather promote than hire.
