Strategic planning and business analysis manager (Monterrey)

At ArcelorMittal's Integral Strategy Area, we are looking for a Strategy & Planning manager based at our Monterrey office to support the strategy teams of ArcelorMittal Mexico, USA and Canada. The role involves assessing organizational performance, developing achievable goals and implementing processes that improve organizational effectiveness and build a sustainable competitive advantage.

Company: ArcelorMittal Mexico, which produces steel for connecting remote communities by road, ship, bridge, and high‑speed rail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out research, analysis and monitoring of the market to reveal important data that helps the company establish objectives and strategies.
• Provide national and regional monitoring of key companies in the steel industry.
• Support and guide senior‑management decision‑making processes to detect company failures and opportunities presented by the market.
• Align stakeholder relationships to create a win‑win relationship between brand and market.
• Take responsibility for and/or support energy management analysis, covering different aspects of such risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, engineering or related fields; MBA preferred.
• Research experience, analytical mind and outstanding presentation skills.
• Excellent leadership skills and familiarity with business operations.
• Strategic thinking with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Technical Skills

• MS Office (Excel, SAP, PowerBI)
