Account Manager (US Freight Brokerage)

We are a fast-growing 4PL/3PL provider offering Managed Transportation (freight brokerage) services across the US.

We're looking for an experienced Account Manager to own day-to-day brokerage operations and customer accounts, with a hand in training and supporting the team around them as we grow.

Roles & Responsibilities

Operations & Account Management

• Booking carriers for shipments
• Monitoring and tracking shipments
• Managing TMS entries
• Sourcing carriers and building carrier relationships
• Reviewing carrier invoices and PODs, supporting invoicing and billing
• Owning customer accounts as the primary point of contact and growing them over time

KPI Ownership

• Own account-level KPIs: on-time pickup/delivery, tender acceptance, margin per load, claims ratio, and invoice accuracy
• Report performance trends and flag at-risk accounts early with a plan attached

Team Support

• Help train new team members on processes, tools, and standards
• Support day-to-day coordination and participate in 1-on-1 reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years of US-based logistics / freight brokerage experience required
• Excellent English communication skills required. This role is all about talking to carriers and customers and building relationships.
• Excellent memory and sharp attention to detail
• Comfortable being measured on your numbers
• Working Pacific Time hours
• Reliable internet and a quiet remote workspace
