Jefo is currently seeking a Sales Manager – Animal Nutrition in Mexico

Summary of position:

As Sales Manager – Mexico, you will lead and coach a team of Territory Managers and Sales Representatives across Mexico's key geographic sales regions to deliver the country's revenue target. You'll be accountable both for the team's rolled-up results and for the coaching cadence that drives them: weekly one-on-ones, monthly development reviews, quarterly business reviews, and regular joint field visits. You will translate Jefo's account tiering, pipeline, and needs-based selling standards into consistent field behavior, and act as the escalation point for complex accounts, distributor issues, and cross-functional support across the region.

Main responsibilities of the position:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Managers / Sales Representatives (typical span of 4–5 field reps), running a disciplined coaching cadence of weekly 1:1s, monthly development reviews, quarterly business reviews, and joint field visits.
• Own the team's rolled-up revenue results and pipeline discipline for Mexico, using Salesforce as the single source of truth for forecast and coaching data.
• Apply Jefo's account tiering framework consistently across the team, ensuring Key Account Managers and reps are focused on the highest-value opportunities in each geographic region.
• Act as the escalation point for complex accounts, distributor issues, and cross-functional support needs across the territory.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop new Territory Managers and Sales Representatives, embedding Jefo's coaching cadence, CRM standards, and needs-based selling approach from day one.
• Partner with the General Director – Latin America and Sales Director to execute Mexico's growth plan and multispecies account strategy.
• Travel regularly across Mexico's sales regions to meet with reps, key accounts, and distributors.
• Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or an equivalent technical discipline; a Master's degree is an asset.
• 7–10 years of combined sales and people-management experience in the animal feed, feed additive, or animal production industry.
• Demonstrated experience coaching, developing, or leading a field sales team, with a track record of improving team quota attainment over time.
• Working knowledge of animal nutrition and feed production systems across dairy, poultry, swine, beef, or aquaculture.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce).
• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken, written, and read).
• Solid grounding in structured, needs-based sales methodologies, with the ability to translate them into consistent field behavior.
• Strong business judgment, autonomy, and leadership consistent with Jefo's code of conduct; comfortable operating across Mexico's diverse regional markets.
