Title: Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Solution Architect

Position Overvi ew

Client is seeking a highly experienc ed Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Solution Archit ect to lead the functional architecture, solution design, and governance of client's global CLM platform. This individual will serve as the primary functional architect for the CLM program, partnering with Enterprise Architecture, Product Management, Systems Integrators, and business stakeholders to design scalable, standardized solutions that support their global legal and contract management processes.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the CLM platform aligns with enterprise architecture standards while driving consistency across multiple global deployments. This is a hands-on architecture role requiring both strategic thinking and deep functional expertise in modern CLM technologies.

This engagement supports a large-scale enterprise transformation and requires someone who is comfortable leading design discussions, governing solution decisions, mentoring technical teams, and collaborating across global business and IT organizatio ns.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Functional Leaders hip

• Own the end-to-end functional architecture and solution design for their global CLM platform.
• Define and govern scalable CLM processes and solution standards across multiple global deployments.
• Ensure alignment with clients Enterprise Architecture principles and long-term technology strategy.
• Evaluate design decisions, configuration approaches, customization requests, and data impacts to maintain overall solution integrity.
• Drive reuse of existing capabilities and promote standardized "lift-and-shift" implementations wherever possib le.

Global Program Deliv ery

• Partner closely with Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, Delivery Leads, Systems Integrators, and third-party vendors throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Support both traditional Waterfall planning and Agile delivery methodologies as programs transition into ongoing product development.
• Lead functional solution reviews throughout design, build, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Ensure user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria accurately reflect business needs and architectural standar ds.

Stakeholder Managem ent

• Serve as the primary functional advisor to Legal, IT leadership, Product Management, and business stakeholders.
• Lead workshops with business process owners and subject matter experts to define future-state contract management processes.
• Clearly communicate architectural decisions, implementation strategies, risks, and recommendations to both technical and executive audiences.
• Influence cross-functional teams while balancing business requirements with enterprise technology standar ds.

Governance & Continuous Improvem ent

• Establish and maintain governance processes for CLM configuration, enhancements, integrations, and future deployments.
• Support onboarding, knowledge transfer, and functional training for internal teams and DevSecOps resources.
• Mentor solution analysts, functional consultants, and development teams on CLM best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce technology complexity, improve scalability, and lower long-term operational cos ts.

• Strong English Communicat ion
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions.
• Proven experience serving as a Solution Architect or Functional Architect on large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end contract management processes including authoring, approvals, negotiation, obligation management, renewals, repository management, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and integration between CLM platforms and upstream/downstream business systems.
• Experience balancing solution configuration versus custom development while maintaining long-term platform sustainability.
• Strong understanding of master data and data governance required to support enterprise contract management.
• Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams, third-party implementation partners, and offshore delivery organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex design decisions while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

• Experience implementing AI-enabled CLM capabilities, document intelligence, electronic signature solutions, and automated workflow management.
• Previous experience supporting Legal technology organizations within large globalenterprises.

Experience working within DevSecOps operating models.
