Procurement Analyst

DESCRIPTION:

The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for goods and services that support the operation, maintenance, and improvement in the plant. This includes managing vendor relationships, optimizing costs, ensuring service quality, and aligning procurement strategies with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing activities for facility-related categories.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies
• Run RFQs/RFPs and evaluate supplier proposals
• Negotiate pricing, service-level agreements (SLAs), and contract terms
• Ensure contracts comply with company policies and legal standards
• Monitor contract performance and renewals
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers
• Conduct supplier performance reviews
• Resolve escalations and service issues
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Track and manage procurement budgets
• Analyze spend data and trends
• Understand internal stakeholder needs and translate them into procurement strategies
• Ensure vendors meet regulatory, safety, and environmental standards
• Mitigate procurement and operational risks

Requirements:

1. 3 to 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing
2. SAP MM Module
3. Fluent business English
4. Advanced negotiation skills (pricing, SLAs, and contract terms)
5. RFQ/RFP process management and supplier proposal evaluation
6. Spend analysis (spend data and trends) to identify savings and build category strategy
7. Professional degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering, with a specialization in procurement
