Site Procurement Manager, Procurement Operations SPO

Responsibilities

• Align with the Regional Procurement Manager to provide procurement operations for the building, including forecasting non-inventory services, supplier management, sourcing and negotiation, procurement transactions, projects of innovation, and expediting support as needed.
• Develop deep knowledge of services and categories.
• Report to the local Site leader on a weekly and monthly basis about services performance and actions needed (service, experience, improvements, new projects).
• Lead the operational procurement process.
• Manage related KPIs to measure, control and benchmark site procurement processes, including creation of recurring metrics reports.
• Develop relationships across the building and the network of Procurement and other sites.
• Align with internal customers, Finance and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets by building and develop an agreed method of measuring and defining savings, value and other category metrics.
• Project Management.
• Build the category metrics model based on input from the category team to track and monitor performance to the local category strategy.
• Measure actual vs planned savings, advise the team of trends, escalate issues and own action plans.
• Manage and maintain supplier scorecards.
• Support the Procurement Operations excellence and Category Management teams.

A day in the life

• Daily monitoring of the performance of all sites.
• Identify improvement opportunities related to services.
• Attend critical escalations and develop action plans or task forces as needed.
• Network with key stakeholders, functions and suppliers to collaborate on value-added improvements for the operation.
• Identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities in internal processes and flag potential risks.
• Maintain 24/7 coverage for shifts and the service team to avoid disruption.
• Support Business Continuity processes to maintain operation in contingencies.
• Project Management.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
• 3+ years of supply chain experience
• Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in procurement
• Experience in Coupa or other financial management/procurement software
