What you'll do

• Negotiate material cost
• Negotiate Payment terms, Incoterms and other terms & conditions(T&C)
• Identify and submit cost reductions
• Establish Supply Base Operating Guidelines requirements with supplier base
• Negotiate and Update pricing, Lead time(LT) and minimum order quantities(MOQ)/standard packs
• If supplier change is required, notify plants on transition plan
• Update T&C in JD Edwards system (ERP system)
• Request, review and analyze quotes and select best total cost part
• Update and submit quotes to Quote
  database/requestor
• Award new business to suppliers
• Input new parts into ERP system

What we are looking for

• Perform supplier on site or phone audits based on IATF Quality standard as needed (new and/or current)
• Knowledge in IATF16949 Quality Standard
• Follow up on tooled components and PPAP approval documentation
• 3-5 years of responsible experience in purchasing, contracting, purchasing policy and procedure. Buying
  for a large organization; or Equivalent combination of training, education, and
  experience. BA/ BS Degree in Business or Engineering
