Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:Operations Manager__Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Switchboard team in Apodaca.You will be mainly accountable for:Supervise and coordinate daily production activities within the assigned area.Ensure compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs), including efficiency, quality, waste reduction, cycle times, and others.Lead and motivate the operations team, fostering a safe, collaborative, and results-oriented work environment.Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).Coordinate with departments such as Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and Engineering to ensure operational continuity.Qualifications for the role:Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related.5+ years of experience as a Production Team Leader in manufacturing environments.Skilled in Microsoft Excel and SAP.Knowledge of Lean Methodologies.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Fluent in English.Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and organizational skills, with the ability to drive results, build effective relationships, and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.More about usBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
