Social Media Manager

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager to own and grow our presence across every major platform. This is a builder's role: you'll set strategy, create and publish content, manage community, and report on what's working. Unlike most social roles, you won't just run one brand account, you'll manage a coordinated portfolio of profiles, blending our company voice with the personal, founder-led voices that drive so much of our reach.

You'll report to the founders, sitting at the intersection of content, brand, and growth. We work hybrid, with a mix of in-office collaboration days and remote focus time.

What You'll Manage

You'll run three accounts on each of our core platforms — one company brand profile and two founder profiles across:

• LinkedIn - thought leadership, hiring, and B2B relationship building
• Instagram - brand storytelling, culture, and visual content
• X (Twitter) - real-time engagement, community, and reach
• TikTok - short-form and long-form video that builds audience

That's 12 active profiles in total. A big part of the job is developing distinct, authentic voices for each founder while keeping everything aligned to one coherent brand, coordinating messaging so the company and founder accounts amplify each other rather than compete.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & planning - Own the social content calendar across all 12 profiles; set channel-specific strategies and monthly goals tied to business objectives.
• Content creation - Write, design, and produce posts, captions, short-form video, and graphics; adapt content to the format and audience of each platform.
• Founder voice - Ghostwrite and co-create content for two founder profiles per platform, capturing each person's authentic voice and point of view.
• Community management - Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions; engage with the audience daily and represent the brand professionally in public conversations.
• Publishing & scheduling - Manage the end-to-end publishing workflow using a social scheduling tool; ensure consistent cadence across every account.
• Growth & campaigns - Run organic growth initiatives and support paid social campaigns; test new formats, hooks, and posting strategies.
• Analytics & reporting - Track performance against KPIs (reach, engagement, follower growth, conversions); deliver clear monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
• Trend spotting - Stay ahead of platform changes, cultural trends, and competitor activity; bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Collaboration - Partner with founders, marketing, sales, and design to source stories and keep messaging consistent.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or notable personal brand.
• Proven track record growing audiences and engagement across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube).
• Strong writing skills with the ability to shift between a company voice and multiple distinct personal voices.
• Hands-on content creation ability, comfortable shooting and editing short-form video and creating simple graphics (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or similar).
• Experience with scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, Later, or native platform tools).
• Data-literate - able to read analytics, draw conclusions, and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Highly organized and self-directed; able to juggle many accounts and deadlines without dropping quality.
• Comfortable working directly with founders and executives, including ghostwriting on their behalf.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing or ghostwriting for founder / executive personal brands.
• Familiarity with paid social campaign management.
• Basic understanding of SEO, email marketing, or broader content marketing.
• Experience in a startup or fast-moving small-business environment.
