Our challenge
We´re looking Support Engineers that will provide second-line support with deeper troubleshooting and incident investigation across payments platforms, core banking integrations, and multi-domain environments. Execute changes and contribute to problem management.
The Role
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform detailed incident investigations and cross-domain troubleshooting; manage complex escalations and support war-room/techline activities, including hotfix execution.
- Execute changes across a fungible L1/L2 pool to ensure operational flexibility and weekend coverage.
- Contribute to problem management: perform root cause analysis, identify trends, and drive remediation in coordination with L3 retained teams.
- Optimize monitoring and rationalize alerts to improve signal quality and reduce noise.
- Support backup & recovery activities and provide audit support as required.
- Support client connectivity and payment lifecycle operations across the integration layer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows servers.
- Working knowledge of databases (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL or similar).
- Cloud exposure (AWS, GCP, or equivalent).
- Experience with observability tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, Datadog, or similar).
- Experience with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow.
- Enterprise payments environment (cross-border payments, client connectivity, liquidity systems) and multi-domain production engineering.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Good English communication skills (required).
