We are looking to connect with experienced corporate lawyers who are ready to step into a managerial role within an international professional services firm, with exposure to multinational clients, cross-border matters and multidisciplinary teams.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals currently working in recognised law firms, Legal Services practices or multinational legal departments who are seeking broader involvement in strategic matters, greater visibility with executive stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of an expanding legal practice.

What you would be doing

• Leading corporate law, governance, reorganisation and legal entity management engagements.
• Managing M&A matters, legal due diligence and the drafting or negotiation of transaction documents.
• Drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements for domestic and international clients.
• Advising on regulatory, compliance, anti-bribery and data protection matters.
• Managing senior client relationships and delivering practical recommendations to executive stakeholders.
• Monitoring relevant legal and regulatory developments and translating them into practical alerts, opportunities and actions for clients.
• Owning engagement scope, staffing, budget, profitability, quality and timelines.
• Coordinating specialists across disciplines and jurisdictions.
• Supervising and developing junior and senior lawyers.
• Contributing to proposals, business development and account growth.
• Act as a trusted adviser to clients and executive stakeholders, presenting clear legal analyses, solution alternatives and business-oriented recommendations

We are looking for professionals with

• A Law degree and valid Mexican professional license.
• Seven to ten years of corporate law experience.
• Experience gained in a recognised law firm, Legal Services practice or multinational company.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, contracts, reorganisations and M&A.
• Experience leading teams and managing multiple matters simultaneously.
• Advanced English for negotiation, legal drafting and international collaboration.
• A commercial mindset, client orientation, ownership and sound risk judgment.

Preferred background

• Manage M&A and corporate reorganisation projects, including legal due diligence, risk identification, transaction structuring, and the drafting and negotiation of NDAs, LOIs, SPAs, APAs, SHAs, joint venture agreements, closing documents and post-closing actions.
• Knowledge of compliance, FCPA/ABAC, privacy, investigations or regulatory interactions.
• Experience in business development and professional services.
