We’ll Count on You To

• Perform data analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the US Corporates group, supporting existing ratings, new rating mandates, and research.
• Become an expert on the model used to derive credit opinion recommendations.
• Take ownership of the credits assigned a credit assessment by Fitch.
• Maintain comprehensive financial models.
• Prepare internal reports tracking key operational trends to inform senior staff and support strategic planning decisions.
• Occasionally collaborate with senior team members to publish research on US Corporates topics for Fitch’s external audience.
• Support Senior Analysts in preparing presentations for internal credit rating committees.
• Participate in the evaluation of other credits within US Corporates, as well as adjacent credit groups.

What You Need to Have

• 1‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Advanced English proficiency (bilingual).
• Demonstrated interest in levered finance/private credit.
• Exposure to financial statement analysis in a work or classroom setting.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change.
• Ability to excel in a team‑oriented environment.
